Cody Rhodes Vs. Randy Orton Set For Sunday Night’s Main Event
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton will take place at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
On August 14, during WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton attacked Cody Rhodes during the main event before his match against Sami Zayn could take place.
Earlier on the show, Rhodes talked to Aldis about a match against Orton, and the SmackDown General Manager said he’ll try to set it up for Sunday Night’s Main Event.
This bout has now been confirmed by Aldis on social media.

Sunday Night’s Main Event takes place on September 6 in Atlanta, Georgia – the billed hometown of Rhodes. The last time Orton and Rhodes faced each other was at Night 1 of WrestleMania 42, where Rhodes won.
