Cody Says 'The Elite' Would Love To Stick Together, But "There Is A World Where That May Not Happen"

Cody talks 'The Elite'.

Over the past year, 'The Elite' consisting of Cody, The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll, Adam "Hangman" Page and Kenny Omega have taken themselves to the forefront of the professional wrestling scene with highly regarded matches and presenting their self-financed 'All In' show that commenced and concluded on September 1st of this year. The group has been in headlines as of late once again because there were trademarks filed which link back to the rumored 'All Elite Wrestling' promotion that they are reportedly kick-starting with the backing of Jacksonville Jaguars owner Tony Khan

The Elite hint that they have a lot planned for the future but keep those plans under wraps and during an interview with Mirror Sport, Cody shared that the next month is filled with difficult and game-changing decisions for everyone in the group and while they all would love to stick together, there is a possibility that it may not happen.

"Yeah I know and it's one of those things where it's nice to let it play out. Any time fans ask me what do you guys think is next, what's the plan, I typically tell them to watch Being The Elite. I know Being The Elite has so much comedy in it and there's many goofy elements, but it also has... the thread is in there of where we'll be going and what we'll be doing. But the truth really is, these two months December and January, are really a minefield of just political and difficult decisions for everybody. You know, obviously, we would love to stick together, we have this chemistry amongst each other, this friendship and a competitive nature amongst each other, we would love to stay together, but who knows? There is a world where that may not happen." Cody stated. "Either way, if All In was just one night, it was the best night of my life, for sure. It was a wonderful thing. If it ends up being more, then I think that's a great thing for the fans. But the best thing I can tell you is stay tuned and hang in there with us, because believe me, we don't have all the answers yet either."
