Colt Cabana Hesitates To Air Jim Duggan Segment About NFL Protests

Colt Cabana doesn't want to separate the wrestling world.

On a recent episode of Art is Wrestling, Colt Cabana interviewed three Hall of Famers, Pat Buck, and Kevin Matthews. During the episode Jim Duggan referenced and discussed what he considers disrespect by some NFL players who choose to protest during the National Anthem. Duggan emphasized his points with the imagery of wounded soldiers who he met as wrestling fans.

Cabana aired the clip despite having reservations. He was concerned with bringing politics onto his podcast but ultimately decided Duggan deserved to share his view point like all of his guest.

Cabana explained why he disagreed with Duggan's point of view and suggested that political divisiveness should take a break.

"Let’s not get into an argument. I love you. You love me but, these are my beliefs and those are Hacksaw Jim Duggan’s beliefs. Let’s not separate the wrestling world. Let’s all just love each other. How is that, politically?," said Cabana.
