Daisuke Sekimoto Returning To In-Ring Action For Big Japan Pro Wrestling

Sekimoto is coming back after departing the promotion.

For 24 years of his career, Daisuke Sekimoto worked with Big Japan Pro Wrestling. His departure was formally announced on June 22nd by BJW promoter Eiji Tosaka.

It was revealed that Sekimoto would become a freelancer at the end of June, and the two parties had been talking about the decision since the beginning of 2025. In late May, Sekimoto was taken to a hospital after suffering an injury at a Big Japan show.

After opting to become a freelancer, Sekimoto is now set to return to Big Japan for their July 27th show at Korakuen Hall.

He is set to team with So Daimonji to take on Ryuji Ito and Abdullah Kobayashi. Sekimoto is still a free agent.
