Damian Priest Reveals The Best Advice That He Has Received From John Cena
John Cena had key advice for Damian Priest at the best time.
After losing tag team gold during the first night of the event, Damian Priest bounced back in a big way during night two of WrestleMania 40, as he cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase on Drew McIntyre to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
The very next day, Priest received from huge advice from John Cena.
“The Raw After WrestleMania when I won the World Heavyweight Championship, it was my first time out there with the title and as soon as I came through the curtain, he was waiting for me. He asked me how I felt and he also said, ‘Listen, you can have a plan, you can enjoy what the crowd is doing, but it doesn’t mean you to have to stick to it. Do what is right and know your purpose, know your role and go with that, cause that’s always the most important thing is the role for the show. When you get rid of that, you get rid of your ego and you’re able to humble yourself to do the job the right way.’” Priest said when asked to share the best advice that he’s gotten from the ‘Last Real Champion’.
