Damian Priest believes he was born to do pro wrestling.
Damian Priest has been a part of WWE for a large part of the past decade, and has been a top name on Friday Night SmackDown in the past few months, currently feuding with Drew McIntyre on the brand.
While speaking to Las 5 Equinas De NY at his Bronx Hall Of Fame induction event, Priest was asked about becoming a pro wrestler and the drive he needed to become successful.
"Since I was a kid, a young teen, I felt like this is what I was born to do. But you never know. I mean, there's tons of dreamers. Everybody wants to accomplish something, but it doesn't- in real life, it doesn't always work out that way. So for me, I'm one of the fortunate ones that got to live out his childhood dream."
Priest is scheduled to face Drew McIntyre at the next WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. You can read more about that here.
