Dana Brooke Wants To Win The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Alongside Hall Of Famer

Dana Brooke talks about her future goals and what it meant for her to receive a compliment from Beth Phoenix on live television.

Dana Brooke has been in the WWE for many years and only recently captured her first championship, the WWE 24/7 Championship. Now, she's speaking about her ups and downs in a new interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro.

Dana reveals that she always felt like she was on edge but now that she has momentum, she believes she can elevate her career and go for a Tag Team Championship or even the WWE Raw Women's Championship

"I was always on the edge where it was like, 'Am I gonna be used? Am I not gonna be used?' Now I’ve got this title, it feels like my toes are in the water,’ she said. "I’m being utilized, I’m showing depth in my character."

She continued, "Now, it’s the next step – I’ll find a tag partner, and I’m after those Women’s Tag Team Titles, with this by my side! Or I can go and face for the Raw Women’s Championship – it might not be a win the first time, but it’s momentum, it’s a progression where I feel I can completely dive in."

On the January 17 episode of Monday Night Raw, Beth Phoenix congratulated Dana Brooke on her success. For Dana, she has always been a fan of Beth Phoenix and says she would love to be able to team with a Hall of Famer and potentially capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship

"She gave me that compliment, and I’ve always looked up to her! [At] the beginning of my career, I always watched her because I found great similarities between us. You never know who’s watching! Her giving me a compliment on Monday, I was taken aback by it, super excited!

"I would love to be in the ring with her by my side, guiding me through things, and maybe picking her brain, and seeing what she does differently to me, and learn from her – and hold those tag team titles together. I think it would be super, super amazing!"

Next for everyone in the WWE Universe is this Saturday's Royal Rumble event. Beth Phoenix will be in tag team action, but it will not be women's tag team action.

Instead, it will be alongside her husband, Edge, against The Miz & Maryse. We will have live coverage of the Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 29.
