If Henry Cejudo wants to take Nikki Bella on a date, he may have to go through Daniel Bryan.
Speaking to ABC 15, Bryan wanted all the smoke with UFC Flyweight Champion Henry Cejudo.
?There?s a lot of people who want to think that they?re the best -- lots of them, but guess what? Not a single one of those people are Daniel Bryan," explained Bryan. "There?s a lot of people that go around and they hold championship titles and they think they?re so tough...and they think that they?re this, and they think that they?re that. None of them are Daniel Bryan. Henry Cejudo, a Valley resident, who just defended his UFC championship last Saturday, wants to go out on a date with my sister-in-law. Guess what? Henry Cejudo, you?re not the man that Daniel Bryan is. You fight Daniel Bryan, you go down every time. That?s why I?m the best!"
Bryan's interview was done in-character, but it doesn't make it any less awesome.
Cejudo made headlines earlier this week when he revealed his crush on Nikki Bella. Bella and Cejudo went back-and-forth on social media, teasing a training session and date. Cejudo told TMZ that he would fight John Cena in a ladder match for Nikki Bella's heart if that's what he needed to do.
It's easy to mess with a man nursing an "injured ankle." Cejudo should test himself against another champion.
