Daniel Bryan's doctor says he saw nothing that should keep the wrestler out of the ring.
Over the past week, the world of professional wrestling has been talking about Daniel Bryan finally returning to WWE to wrestle. On Tuesday, WWE sent out a press release detailing the testing Bryan went through to get cleared. One of the doctors mentioned in the press release was Dr. Robert Cantu who told Newsweek when he examined Daniel Bryan he saw no physical evidence of concussion injuries.
?I evaluated Bryan for a neurological opinion on return to WWE on February 26, 2018. Included in his medical records were multiple evaluations by renowned concussion clinicians,? said Cantu. "I determined that Bryan is currently asymptomatic, has a normal detailed neurological and cognitive neuropsychological examination, normal EEG, and an MRI that showed no definite evidence of a prior brain injury. It is my medical opinion that there is no absolute contraindication to his return to in-ring action in WWE," he continued.
Daniel Bryan was in a brawl on Smackdown with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens and news also broke this week that Bryan will need evaluations after every match for now.
