Daniel Bryan Speaks On His Return, Will Kick Off Smackdown Live Tonight

Daniel Bryan says he will kick off Smackdown.

Today, WWE broke the news that Daniel Bryan had been medically cleared ahead of his announced return to Smackdown to address the situation with Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn. He has been at odds with McMahon because of the confrontations between McMahon, Owens, and Zayn which date back to Hell in a Cell.

After the announcement, Bryan tweeted to prepare his fans for his appearance on Smackdown.

Saying goodbye to the ring was one of the hardest moments of my life. But thanks to the amazing people supporting me, I was able to keep fighting for my dream. This moment feels surreal and I'm glad to be able to talk to you all at the beginning of #SDLive tonight.

Daniel Bryan has not wrestled since April 16th, 2015 and after that he vacated his WWE Intercontinental Championship and stepped away from professional wrestling. His return tonight comes only weeks before Wrestlemania 34.
