Darby Allin To Run New York City Marathon

Darby Allin is ready for a new challenge.

Allin revealed to Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown that he will run in the New York City Marathon on November 1.

This will be Allin’s first-ever marathon.

“I don’t even have running shoes yet,” Allin said. “I kind of want to just go into it fully blind. Everyone’s like, ‘you gotta know what you’re getting yourself into.’ I was like, I kinda wanna just wing it, and it sounds so fun. So I don’t know if I’ll if I actually train for it. Yeah. I kinda wanna just wing it and push myself.”

Allin will run in support of KultureCity, a nonprofit focusing on sensory accessibility and inclusion for individuals with invisible disabilities, and will run as part of a group of 50 runners.

Darby Allin climbed Mount Everest in 2025.

He will compete in a 12-man cage match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, teaming with Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, & Konosuke Takeshita against MJF, Jake Doyle, Kyle Fletcher, Andrade El Idolo, Kevin Knight, & Kazuchika Okada.
