Darren Drozdov's Family Sets Up Scholarship Fund In His Name

Darren "Droz" Drozdov passed away on June 30, and his family has opened a scholarship fund in his name.

Drozdov played football in the NFL, and he had a memorable WWE career, as he was featured as Puke, the unofficial third member of the Legion of Doom alongside Hawk and Animal. He was later paired with Prince Albert and Key. Drozdov's career was tragically cut short when he landed badly on a powerbomb during a match with D'Lo Brown in October 1999, and he never walked again following the injury. he continued to work with WWE as a writer and columnist after the injury.

Adam Schefter of ESPN shared the news that Drozdov's family is setting up a scholarship fund at his alma mater, Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, NJ. The family is accepting donations to the Darren Drozdov Scholarship Fund, rather than flowers or other donations.
