Some people feel that Hulk Hogan should never be brought back to the WWE. But Diamond Dallas Page feels otherwise.
He told TMZ, in a video you can see above, that he credits Hulk Hogan for where he's gotten in the wrestling industry.
“To me, at some point Hulk has to come back,” he told TMZ. “I’m hoping that it gets seen on the WWE’s side. He was really one of the guys that was instrumental in getting me to that top spot because he believed in me. When I won the world title that night he was in that match with Ric Flair taking a diamond cutter (...) me, Flair, Sting, Hogan. When I walked into that locker room. He looked at me and said ‘this is the way our business is supposed to be (...) that is what this is all about”
At the end of the day, DDP just doesn’t think Hogan is racist, despite the reveal of several audio recordings where he used racially charged words.
“I don’t think anyone, in any way, thinks (Hogan) has a racist bone in his body. Bottom line is that he’s a good man and I hope to God he comes back” he said.
WWE has reportedly shown interest in bringing Hogan back, but it would ultimately come down to if sponsors would allow it.
