Dean 'Mojo' Muhtadi: I Have Unfinished Business As A Wrestler, There's Still Stuff I Want To Do

Dean Muhtadi, formerly known as Mojo Rawley, isn't finished as a wrestler.

Rawley spent several years in WWE, where he won the WWE 24/7 Championship seven times. The company released him in a wave of cuts in April 2021. Since them, he has been focused on other projects. He is a co-host on TMZ Sports, and he is also running the Paragon Talent Group.

Speaking with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone during Starrcast weekend, Muhtadi was asked whether working with talents signed to his Paragon Talent Group sparked any desire to perform as an on-screen manager. He responded by noting that his long battle with COVID-19 prevented him from completing everything he wanted to do as an active wrestler. Moving forward, he stated that he has "unfinished business" in the ring, and he also thinks getting into the managerial side makes a lot of sense.

“I kinda want to do it all. I had that nasty injury from COVID that took me out before I finished everything I wanted to do in-ring. So there’s definitely a lot of in-ring stuff I still want to do as a competitor. But you know how it is with pro wrestling. I wanna bundle it all together. It’s too easy, it makes too much sense to also take on a managerial role, especially with everything we’re doing with Paragon and kinda just combine and merge it all together. So I’d love to kind of do all of the above and see where how it shakes out. It makes too much sense. Again, I got unfinished business with this business," he said.

When asked about what he’s working on and where we’ll see him next, Muhtadi said, “Wait and see, baby. There’s so much coming up quick.”

Muhtadi recently ensured that all Paragon talent was paid by World Entertainment Series after the promotion canceled its July 9 event. More information is available here.
