Deonna Purrazzo would love Toni Storm in IMPACT Wrestling.
Deonna Purrazzo is becoming more and more synonymous with IMPACT and its Knockouts division as she continues to break barriers.
Deonna Purrazzo recently had the privilege of being one of the first two women to headline a pay-per-view for the IMPACT Knockouts Championship, competing in a Texas Death Match against Mickie James. Just two years prior, both women were employed by WWE, with Mickie on the main roster and Purrazzo making her way through the NXT system.
Both women have since made it a mission to prove that there is life outside of WWE. Now, Deonna Purrazzo is talking about her hope for another recently-released WWE Superstar, Toni Storm.
Storm, who had just faced Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship in an episode that aired on Christmas Eve, requested her release very shortly after that match aired.
Now, in an interview with Jose G of Sportskeeda, Purrazzo, who says that Toni Storm is one of her best friends, explains that she feels IMPACT can provide Toni with everything she needs as a person if she does choose to continue on in professional wrestling.
She said, "Another one of my very best friends is Toni Storm. So I'm going to say Toni Storm [is who she'd pick to join IMPACT], in terms of wanting to wrestle her. Also, in terms of, I think everything that she needs as a human, IMPACT provides. Just, yeah. I want to see her thrive in whatever she chooses to do next, whether it's wrestling, or whether it's not"
Deonna is currently holding the Ring of Honor Women's Championship as well as the AAA Reina de Reinas championship, with no plans to slow down anytime soon.
Fightful has live coverage of IMPACT on AXS TV beginning Thursday at 8 p.m. eastern.
