Dirty Dango (Fandango) Says He's Starting With A Company On TV In The Next Couple Of Weeks

Dirty Dango, formerly known as Fandango, says he's returning to television soon.

Dango spent many years wth WWE; he came up through the developmental system, and after his initial run as Johnny Curtis, he debuted as Fandango in 2012. He had a memorable run with this character; he faced Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29 and later won the NXT Tag Team Championship with Tyler Breeze, among other highlights. WWE released Fandango on June 25, 2021. In recent months, he has been active on the independent scene.

Speaking on Café De René with Rene Dupree, Dango was asked about what he has coming up on his schedule. In response, he noted that he's starting with a company soon, and it will be on TV.

"I’m starting with a company soon, I think in the next couple weeks that I can’t really talk about, but it should be on TV. I mean it will be on TV," Dango said.

Dango continues to compete for the NWA, among other promotions. He will be in action on the September 27 episode of NWA Pretty Empowered Surge. More information is available here.
