Fandango (Dirty Dango) burst onto the WWE scene in October 2012 as a ballroom dancer who was initially linked with Andrea Lynn and then Summer Rae.
Fandango got over as a dancer and got over "The Fandango" as a dance with the audience, to the point where he actually spoke with ABC reps about being on Dancing With The Stars.
"Yeah, I went and met with ABC," Fandango said during a Highspots Virtual Auction when asked if him appearing on Dancing With The Stars was ever talked about. "I think Randy Couture got it. One of the UFC guys, was it Randy Couture? One of those guys got it instead of me because I guess they were more famous than I was. Would have been a good payday."
Randy Couture was on the 19th season of Dancing With The Stars in 2014. He was eliminated in the third week.
The Miz is currently on the series and remains alive in the competition.
Fandango is currently a free agent and wrestling at various Independent events following his WWE release on June 25.
