Dominik Mysterio will luckily avoid shoulder surgery despite his recent injury.
During Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, Joe Tessitore stated that Dominik Mysterio will be out of action indefinitely following him suffering a shoulder injury back at AAA Guerra de Titanes, teaming with El Grande Americano against Rey Mysterio & Rey Fenix. In addition, Liv Morgan also stated that Dominik would be ‘out for a little while’.
In a new Fightful Select post on December 30th, it was noted that Dominik Mysterio’s injury will not require surgery to repair the damage done by the injury, and that WWE hopes for the younger Mysterio and current WWE Intercontinental Champion to return in time for Royal Rumble week 2026 in around a month.
WWE sources claimed to @FightfulSelect that it doesn't look like Dominik Mysterio will require surgery for his shoulder injury. The hope internally is that he will be cleared by Royal Rumble week.

As mentioned previously, Dominik last wrestled at AAA Guerra de Titanes.
It was also reported by Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer that Dominik suffered a shoulder injury at the event, which Fightful Select were able to confirm.
