Don Callis is back in NJPW.
On Thursday night, the company announced that Don Callis will be returning to the NJPW commentary table for Wrestle Kingdom 13 and other upcoming events.
Callis missed the G1 Glimax tournament and other NJPW events over the summer and fall due to his commitments to IMPACT Wrestling, where he serves as co-executive vice president. It was previously reported that he would not return to NJPW due to his role and responsibilities with IMPACT Wrestling.
Rocky Romero and Chris Charlton have been filling in for Callis alongside Kevin Kelly on English commentary. Lanny Poffo flew to Japan for a tryout with NJPW and has been providing commentary during the Road To Power Struggle tour.
Callis was recently in the headlines for turning his back on longtime friend Kenny Omega during Premiere Championship Wrestling event in Winnipeg.
