Moose's contract with the company was set to expire in February 2021 at the earliest after he signed a new multi-year deal in February 2019.

IMPACT has not made an announcement regarding Moose's new deal with the company.

Callis confronted Moose backstage ahead of the IMPACT Hard to Kill main event, which will see Moose team with IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann & Chris Sabin to take on AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and IMPACT Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson).

During the confrontation, Moose teased an appearance on AEW Dynamite. IMPACT and AEW have been working together since December when Callis helped Omega with the AEW World Title. Omega would begin appearing regularly on IMPACT programming following his title victory. Tony Khan would also begin buying paid ads to run on IMPACT.
