Drew McIntyre comments on opening WrestleMania 37.

Dating back to the start of the pandemic, Drew McIntyre has often stated that he wanted to be the first person to walk out when fans return. At WrestleMania 37, he'll get his wish and his WWE Title match against Bobby Lashley will open the show.

McIntyre is excited to hear the first roar of the crowd on Saturday as 25,000 fans enter Raymond James Stadium and he has a challenge for the rest of the WWE locker room.

Taking to Twitter, McIntyre issued the following comments about opening WrestleMania 37.

On April 9, WWE confirmed McIntyre vs. Lashley would open the show while the SmackDown Women's Championship bout between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair would close night one of WrestleMania 37.
