Drew McIntyre Says He Can’t Stand CM Punk, But It’s ‘Magic For The Audience’ When They Work Together

Drew McIntyre looks back on working with Punk.
Drew McIntyre is on a press run to promote the ‘Agent of Shadows’ ReelShort movie that he is starring in. One of his stops was Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk podcast.
McIntyre was asked about his dynamic with CM Punk and said they do not like each other, but when it comes time for them to work together, it is ‘magic for the audience.’
“He’s a piece of crap. I avoid him whenever I can avoid him.” McIntyre continued, “I can tell everybody, he’s a genuine piece of crap. I can’t stand him. I got writers telling me, ‘You’re working with that guy’ and I’m like, ‘Alright, I can’t stand him but I know he’s very good at his job.’ I can’t stand him. You put us together, it’s magic for the audience but also, we have to be professional and not pound each other because if we pound each other’s heads, I would murder him. Did you see him in UFC? It would look like that if it got real in there.”
