Kofi says that Tony Khan’s energy for pro wrestling is ‘so contagious and infectious,’ noting the energy of AEW stars from the top down.

At AEW All In, Kofi and Austin Creed would make their AEW debuts, teaming with Swerve Strickland to challenge for the AEW Trios Championships. The newly formed trio would capture the titles, and remain champions to this day.

While speaking on the Mick and Kenny Show, Kofi spoke about how it feels to work with Tony Khan, noting that his energy is ‘contagious and infectious.’

“Yeah, well, about 22, almost 22 years in totality. But, like, yeah, it’s just, it’s different and in a good way. You know, it really makes you want to bring your best forward. in a different way. You always want to bring your best, but it’s very difficult to describe, but just like you were saying, the energy starts from the top down, you know. So, when you see the person who is literally at the top, you know, as the boss exuding this energy, you want to match that energy, you know what I mean? Like it’s so contagious and infectious. So, yeah, man, we are really enjoying ourselves here thus far.”

Kofi has previously talked about getting to work for Tony Khan. You can read more about that here.
