"The Scottish Terminator" Drew McIntyre has been back on WWE's main roster for a full year and is currently overseas with the company as a part of their post-WrestleMania European tour. Drew McIntyre is fresh off a feud with Roman Reigns that saw Roman defeat McIntyre at WrestleMania 35 and on this past Monday's episode of RAW. Despite the losses, Drew has an opportunity to climb to the top of the food chain in WWE as he is slated for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder match at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on May 19th.
While overseas, McIntyre spoke with his home-country news publication 'The Scottish Sun' and discussed what the Money In The Bank briefcase can do for his career and went over his losses to Roman Reigns and mentioned how he sees no shame in losing to "The Big Dog" seeing as how the likes of The Undertaker have fell in defeat to Reigns as well.
?Money In The Bank would be a huge victory and I?m here to stay top of the card - but every RAW and live event is an opportunity to prove that. Sure, WrestleMania did not go to plan, but there?s no shame in losing there to Roman Reigns. Undertaker lost to him too, so I just look at the next match and the goal is clear in my mind and the future is inevitable. I plan to prove myself in the U.K. this week, plan to prove myself at Money In The Bank and get the briefcase and finally get that Universal Title.? McIntyre stated.
The 'Wild Card' rule is now in effect which allows for four stars from RAW or SmackDown to appear on either brand each week. On last week's edition of SmackDown Live, The Usos made their returns and challenged for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
