Dustin Rhodes: I’m Not Quite Cleared Yet, But We’re Very Close

Dustin Rhodes is currently on the mend after undergoing double knee replacement surgery in August.
He was hoping to return in March, but that month has passed and Dustin has not returned to the ring. He last wrestled on July 31 on AEW Collision against Kyle Fletcher in a street fight.
“I blew both my knees out in that match and I went and got double knee replacements,” Dustin told Tony Schiavone and Conrad Thompson on What Happened When. “The first two months were pretty bad. My wife was waiting on me hand and foot, but they wanted me to walk, so I did as much walking as possible. Been back to work a little bit for coaching. Not quite cleared yet, but I think we’re very close. I can’t wait to see what I can do for the next year and a half, two years, before I retire.”
It is unknown when Dustin Rhodes will return to the ring.
Fightful wishes him the best as he recovers.
