Dustin Rhodes Says He Tried To Talk Tony Khan Out Of AEW TNT Title Win At All In 2025

Dustin Rhodes won the AEW TNT Championship at AEW All In 2025, defeating Sammy Guevara, Kyle Fletcher, and Daniel Garcia in a four-way match.
The bout was originally supposed to be Fletcher vs. Adam Cole, but Cole vacated the title due to injury.
Speaking to Tony Schiavone on What Happened When, Dustin looked back on the moment he won the title.
“That day, I can’t explain it. It was not expected. Due to the circumstances, I understood. With the way they were building Kyle Fletcher, who is a machine and an unbelievable talent. I figured…I tried to talk Tony out of it. He said, ‘No.’ I was like, ‘Okay.’ I had a little run with it. I only had one successful match against Moriarty, and the next one was Kyle Fletcher,” said Dustin.
Fletcher would win the title from Dustin in a street fight 19 days later to end his reign.
Dustin has been sidelined with a knee injury ever since. Fans can find his comments regarding his current status by clicking here.
