Eddie Dennis Sees Himself As A Full-Time Wrestler, But Is Happy To Help Revive ‘Lost Art’ Of Managers

Currently, Eddie Dennis is attempting to lead The Hunt to glory on NXT UK but that doesn't mean that he's tossed aside his own career.

Eddie Dennis was, at one point, a fast-rising star in NXT UK. However, following the return of the brand to BT Sport's studio in London, England, he has largely been a manager of the duo known as The Hunt.

Speaking with Metro, Dennis revealed that by no means does he consider himself done as a full-time competitor, but he does feel honored to help revive the role of a manager in wrestling which he feels, outside of Paul Heyman, is a lost art in the industry.

“I’m healthy,” he revealed.”I’ve spent so much time unhealthy in the last couple of years, to be healthy and to be not active in the ring at the moment feels a little bit strange. Obviously, I’m still attending the Performance Centre and training as a full-time competitor. I still very much see myself as a wrestler.”

He continued, “I’m a big fan of guys like [Paul] Heyman, and I wish there was more of that mouthpiece, advocate, managerial type characters in wrestling,’ he said. ‘I think it’s a lost art – but then, Heyman’s arguably the best that’s ever done it… I’d love to see it make a return, and if I have a tiny part to play in that, I’m all for it.”
