Edge Feels That Drew McIntyre Established Himself As "The Guy" With His Post-Match Promo On RAW This Past Monday

Edge is very impressed with Drew McIntyre thus far.

As a part of the 2018 WWE 'Superstar Shake-Up' Monday Night RAW added Dolph Ziggler to the roster. As Ziggler was about to address the WWE Universe he was interrupted by 'Titus Worldwide', which lead to the group offering Ziggler a spot in the "company". "The Showoff" denied the offer but shared that before he was interrupted he was going to introduce who he came to the RAW brand with and that man he came with was none other than former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre.

The following week on RAW the duo of McIntyre and Ziggler laid waste to Apollo Crews & Titus O'Neil in dominant fashion. Post-match, "The Sinister Scotsman" spoke with an intensity in his eyes and made it clear that he is on RAW to be a top player and a viewer who noticed that was WWE Hall Of Famer Edge. On a recent edition of 'E&C's Pod Of Awesomeness' "The Rated-R Superstar" praised McIntyre's post-match promo stating he felt everything Drew said.

Quote by way of Reddit

“I saw it and I was like this is exactly when he needs to be doing. You could tell he felt and believed everything he said. That promo to me, I was like, there’s the guy right there. It was really good. Short, sweet and he said everything he needed to say. There was full commitment on his part there and if he keeps doing that, the world is his oyster. It was really, really good. To me, it was a very, very dropping of the hammer moment. So, it was pretty cool.”
