El Desperado calls out Jon Moxley.
NJPW's El Desperado competed at GCW Tournament of Survival 8 on June 3, and he wrestled Joey Janela at GCW Cage of Survival 2 the following day. The action-packed weekend clearly left him hungry for more, as he expressed his interest in facing Jon Moxley again.
In a video posted on NJPW's Twitter page, Desperado commented on his trip to GCW and noted that it reminded him of his battle with Jon Moxley. He called Moxley out and seemingly challenged him to a rematch. Desperado noted that NJPW STRONG is doing some "cool things" soon, as he teased their clash could happen there.
"So I come all the way here to GCW on my lonesome, and get wiped in the first round of the tournament. Wish I could’ve lasted, man, but I got the best motivation, the best stimulation, the best pain, and the heat, brother. It reminded me of some- oh, that sounds nasty. It reminded me of more motivation that I got in America. All that fun we had. But then like now, I got buried. You remember? I couldn’t even tap. It was a stoppage. But I’m jonesing for it now. I want more. Moxley, Moxley, Moxley I want what you can give me, man. Come on, let’s go again. I hear NJPW Strong are doing some cool things soon. You know what I love about you? So quick with your replies. You won’t let me down, right? I want the good stuff. Don’t be a stranger," Desperado said.
Desperado previously faced Moxley at NJPW Music City Mayhem in July 2022, and the AEW star won the No Disqualification Match by referee's decision.
