El Hijo del Vikingo To Defend AAA Latin American Championship On NXT
El Hijo del Vikingo is heading to NXT.
As the June 27th episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX was ongoing, a media scrum aired with the brand’s General Manager, Rey Mysterio.
One of the notable things from Mysterio’s chat with the press is that El Hijo del Vikingo will be defending the AAA Latin American Championship on NXT in the future. A date was not officially set.
It was stated during the 6/23 NXT on The CW by General Manager Robert Stone that he chatted with Mysterio, and there will be AAA luchadores at the Great American Bash Premium Live Event on June 28th. There were no names revealed.
Vikingo captured the Latin American Championship at Noches de Los Grandes when he received an assist from Omos to defeat El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
