El Phantasmo is headed to Bound For Glory.
At IMPACT Bound For Glory, the X Division Championship will be on the line in a triple threat match. Josh Alexander vacated the title last month, exercising Option C so that he could challenge for the World Title.
Already qualified for the bout are Trey Miguel and Steve Maclin. Both competitors won triple threat qualifying matches to earn their chance at the belt. Kicking off the October 14 episode of IMPACT was the third and final triple-threat qualifying match between Rohit Raju, Willie Mack, and El Phantasmo.
Willie Mack appeared to have the match won at one point, but Bullet Club's Chris Bey and Hikuleo distracted the referee. Mack proceeded to attack Bey and Hikuleo but took himself out of the match as a result. Phantasmo would then survive a flurry from Rohit and hit his finisher on The Desi Hitman to pick up the victory.
