No longer will the broadcast go silent when El Phantasmo makes his way to the ring.
New Japan announced that they have secured the rights to El Phantasmo's entrance theme "HDBNG CLUB VIP" and it will be played at Wrestle Kingdom 15. Phantasmo, who is the rights holder to the theme, and NJPW couldn't strike an agreement during the Super J-Cup, leading to his entrance being muted.
After ongoing rights negotiations led to El Phantasmo’s entrance theme being muted on broadcasts of Super J-Cup 2020, we are proud to announce that rights have been secured for ELP’s ‘HDBNG CLUB VIP’ theme, which will play the J-Cup winner to the ring for his entrance on January 4 against Hiromu Takahashi, and, should he prove victorious, January 5 against Taiji Ishimori.

‘I am very happy for fans in the Tokyo Dome and around the world to sample my artistic vision for my entrance at Wrestle Kingdom 15. ELP is set to face Hiromu Takahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 15 night one. Should he win, he will challenge Taiji Ishimore for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title at Wrestle Kingdom 15 night two.
