Bad news for Ember Moon.
Following Monday's episode of Raw, Ember Moon revealed that she has an elbow injury that will require immediate surgery. She stated that she will be out of action "for a while" and no timetable was given for her return.
Moon said that she entered the Royal Rumble with the injury but still worked the match. Moon entered the Women's Royal Rumble at No. 6 and lasted 52 minutes before she was eliminated by Alexa Bliss.
Natalya was originally scheduled to team with Moon against the Riott Squad on Monday's episode of Raw. The bout was a qualifying match where the winning team would be entered into the Elimination Chamber to determine the new Women's Tag Team Champions. Natalya ended up teaming with Dana Brooke in the bout, which was won by the Riott Squad.
