Ember Moon gives her take on what she thinks the women's main event match at WrestleMania should be.
The road to WrestleMania will be a bit clearer after tonight's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The path of two WWE superstars -- one from the men's division and one from the women's division will secure themselves a championship match at WrestleMania 35. The main event of WrestleMania 35 has been talked about for months as many feel it is time for the women to main event WrestleMania and those talks grew as the feud between current RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch intensified.
Ronda and Becky did not have their match at Survivor Series but Becky has continuously stated that she is going to find her way back to Ronda and main event WrestleMania with her and tap the UFC Hall Of Famer out. The talk amongst wrestling fans is about Charlotte Flair being a candidate to win the Women's Royal Rumble match and face Ronda Rousey at WWE's biggest show of the year. Former NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon recently gave her take on what women's match she wants to see close "The Show Of Shows" and Ember said that she wants to see the Ronda versus Becky match.
“The fan in me? I would rather see Ronda versus Becky." Ember said on Busted Open Radio. "I feel like the wrestling fan in me really, really, really wants to see that match. I feel like it was taken away from us -- like it was stolen away from us if you will, but that’s the match I want to see. I want to see The Man Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey. I think… yeah, that’s the match I wanna see. “ Ember continued, "I think most of it is just because I already saw Charlotte versus Ronda. I want to see something new, I want to see something different and that’s my different right now.”
All competitors mentioned in this article have big time matches tonight at the Royal Rumble. Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey have championship bouts while Charlotte Flair and Ember Moon are in the Women's Royal Rumble.
