Enzo Amore Compares Himself To WCW & ECW, Invaded WWE Survivor Series 2018 For Marketing Purposes

Enzo Amore reveals the reason he invaded WWE Survivor Series 2018.

In another clip from Enzo's three-hour shoot interview with Title Match Network, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion discussed his infamous invasion at Survivor Series 2018. On that night, Enzo, sitting ringside, stood up at the beginning of a tag team match between AOP and The Bar and recited his WWE intro. Enzo was quickly chased out of the arena by WWE security and banned from future events at the Staples Center.

"I did it for a few reasons. The next day, they're going to sit in their meetings for Raw and they're gonna go over all their trends. And I'm going to pop up on there and they're gonna see that I did better numbers than any other wrestler on that pay-per-view," said Enzo. "Look at Paul Heyman, look at ECW, WCW, Dusty Rhodes...I'm one fucking man. One man purchased a $2,500 ticket, showed up in a wig, stood on a chair and got thrown out for that. Broke no laws. You tell me, if you're into marketing, break no laws and have no repercussions for your actions -- for $2,500 you're gonna trend worldwide. Kiss my ass, everybody."

In the shoot interview, Enzo claims that WWE was calling him leading up to Survivor Series but he didn't answer his phone. He previously said that he caused a scene at the event in an effort to gain the respect of Vince McMahon.
