Eric Andre Says He Got Concussed In A Stunt With John Cena

Eric Andre is known for his unorthodox, but highly entertaining, show and the newest season includes a cameo from John Cena.

Andre was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and recalled a stunt he did that involved Cena on "The Eric Andre Show." The segment saw Cena arrive and throw Andre through a shelf. According to Andre, Cena did everything right in the skit, but it was prepped the wrong way and Andre actually got concussed as a result of the stunt.

"John Cena did the stunt right, but we prepped for the stunt wrong. That metal shelf came over and clocked me in the head and I got concussed and I went to the hospital. I went to the hospital immediately. I had like a Fred Flintstone [bump] on the side of my head and they did a CAT scan and I haven't been able to speak English since. I memorized this interview phonetically," Andre said.

Cena has made his presence known on television and in movies. Cena is the new voice of Honda and has recently been revealed as the star in "The Suicide Squad" spin-off "Peacemaker" for HBO Max. He will also be the co-executive producer of the project. In addition, Cena will star in the upcoming "F9" film and host the revival of "Wipeout."
