At the Horror Show at Extreme Rules, Braun Strowman returned to the swamp to face Bray Wyatt.
The Swamp Fight was designed to bring out Strowman's past demons and true feelings based on the history between Strowman, Wyatt, and the Wyatt family. While Luke Harper and Erick Rowan did not appear during the Swamp Fight, Rowan revealed he was contacted for the cinematic shooting.
"There may have been a chance I was given a call and there may have been a chance I was busy filming. There is a high probability that I wasn't able to fulfill their request," he said during an Instagram Live Q&A with Sportskeeda.
Rowan mentioned at the start of the Q&A session that he was had been gone for six weeks as he was filming a movie in Arkansas.
When asked about Bray and his creative process, Rowan said, "It's the same with him as everybody else. A lot of his ideas go through and he gets a lot of stuff that he wants, and more power to him for having the voice to be able to get that, but there's a lot of times, even him, a lot of stuff happens and it'll get thrown away, that he's upset about. It just goes across the board. At the end of the day, one guy controls what goes on over there."
Bray has found more success than others in getting his ideas through on television given the presence of the Firefly Fun House and recent cinematic matches.
