ESPN have replaced Miseria Cantaré during CM Punk’s entrance in replays of WrestleMania 42 on their ESPN Unlimited platform.
On night two of WrestleMania 42 on April 19th, CM Punk would feature in a special entrance that featured the usage of his old theme music, Miseria Cantaré by AFI, a piece of licensed music he had yet to have used in WWE at that time. Punk’s entrance would feature a pre-emptive video showing him on top of Allegiant Stadium as well as a short moment where he would walk out to no music as his Cult Of Personality theme began playing.
Now, fans have noticed that ESPN Unlimited had made a change to Punk’s entrance during the replay, opting to replace the licensed music by AFI with generic stock music. You can check out footage of the entrance with updated music below.

While the music had been replaced on ESPN’s platform, the song remains part of the entrance in social media posts on X and YouTube, while also remaining a part of the Netflix replay available to international fans.
Last week, it was reported that a second fan had accused CM Punk of putting his hands on them during WrestleMania weekend. You can read more about that here.
