Ethan Page discusses how he has risen up to the WWE main roster since making his debut with WWE NXT, noting that it has been ‘natural.’
Page has had a sharp rise in WWE, having held both the North American and NXT Championships before making his way to the WWE main roster earlier this year, where he has been a part of the Intercontinental Championship scene.
While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm with The Sportster in a new interview, Ethan Page spoke about his rise in WWE so far, noting that it has been ‘natural.’
“I mean, it’s natural. Was there any other trajectory for Ethan Page? Yeah, look, if you study my career, yes, that is usually how it goes. It just usually takes way longer than it should. It’s always a slow, muddy, disgusting climb that I have to backstab and politic my way to get there. But eventually, I do, and then when I reach the top and the promoter tells me that I don’t deserve to be there, I usually quit and then get hired by a bigger promotion. But there are no bigger promotions. It’s just WWE now. I’ve reached the pinnacle, and now WrestleManias, World Championships, Royal Rumbles, King of the Rings. All that stuff is for the taking, and that is the absolute top of the industry. So that’s where I’m going to go. Whether it takes me a little longer than most, that’s usual for me. But I’ll always get my name added to all these lists.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Ethan Page spoke about requesting that WWE remove the intro from his theme music. You can read more about that here.
