Evolution Will Reunite At WWE SmackDown 1000

A bombshell from WWE.

In the year 2002, the beginning stages of one of the most decorated factions in the history of WWE began to take shape. The then-World Heavyweight Champion Triple H aligned himself with WWE Hall Of Famer and 16-time World Champion Ric Flair. Soon to join the group would be former 4-time World Heavyweight Champion Dave Bautista and former 13-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton and together they were 'Evolution'.

The group would go on to takeover the Monday Night RAW brand and there were times throughout their stretch as a faction that they held all of the gold that there was to hold on RAW. 'Evolution' went through a number of breakups as exampled by Randy Orton being kicked out of the group in 2004, Bautista separating himself as well as personal feuds between each other as the years went on. In 2014 there was an 'Evolution' reunion involving Triple H, Randy Orton and Bautista to stop the then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan in his tracks after Bryan defeated Triple H, Bautista and Orton in the same night at WrestleMania XXX.

Although the group stamped their names on the RAW brand they will all be present at SmackDown 1000 on October 16th in Washington D.C. Recently, former World Heavyweight Champion Dave Bautista stated that he was not invited to SmackDown 1000 which is in his hometown but it appears that Bautista was attempting to surprise the fans as he and his former 'Evolution' faction mates will be drawing a line in the sand once again on the 1000th episode of SmackDown.
