Backstage Details And Reactions Of Recent WWE Hirings And Firings

Fightful Select has gained additional details on some of the hirings and firings over the last several weeks.

In relation to the Arn Anderson firing, Fightful spoke to a source that stated in relation to the final disagreement that led to Anderson's departure, that Vince McMahon spoke to Anderson in a way most have never seen before. The bad blood had already been boiling over, with Triple H long serving as a peacekeeper. While their were several WWE Superstars upset about the situation, some think that Arn will end up back with the company after things calm down. I was told this was expected to be a "blow to morale," with several producers taking sides.

If you noticed the sudden influx of agents being signed -- Shane Helms, Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, Shawn Daivari, Sonjay Dutt -- there seems to be a good reason for that. With WWE looking to establish WWE Performance Centers globally in the coming years, they want to be able to send producers and agents around to those facilities without having to bring them in on a "guest coach" basis.
One of the primary priorities for the Performance Center initiative is in India, which Triple H had publicly spoken about in recent months. Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt and Abyss were all heavily involved in the production of Ring Ka King in India between 2011 and 2012.

In additions to names you've seen on TV, there are several other shifts in production, human resources and marketing research that have been going on over the course of the last several months, with some people behind the scenes taking on roles in NXT and being forced to relocate.
