Backstage News
- We were told Nicole Matthews hasn't been signed to a full-time deal. Fightful Select reported she'd be the opponent for Jade Cargill.
- Saraya's tweet about being fined for her promo is legit, we're told. The proceeds went towards AEW Together projects, and had apologized privately. There was a mass email sent out to talent noting that she'd been fined for profanity and using a middle finger without informing the coach of the segment. AEW talent has been discouraged from flipping audience members off and body shaming the crowd.
- QTV was well received by many backstage.
- As revealed this week, Sarah Stock has joined the company as a coach. She returned to in ring wrestling last spring for a few matches. She'd been out of action since 2015. She worked with WWE between 2015-2020 in a coaching, training and producing role.
- Taya's signing was known by IMPACT and MLW as of late February. She has signed full-time with AEW.
- Chuck Taylor posted on Twitter that he required emergency dental surgery. We're told he's sidelined for a little bit.
- Stu Grayson's return to the company in an official capacity was met with a lot of positivity.
- FTR are still very much claiming privately in AEW that their deals are up soon, but we've not confirmed that whatsoever.
