Anita Vaughan: Amira Is Just The Funniest Person You'll Ever Meet, I Would Love To Wrestle Her

Anita Vaughan talks working with Amira.

Anita Vaughan has been a familiar face to fans of the Irish and UK wrestling scenes, competing across both countries across multiple different promotions. The Irish powerhouse has also been teaming with Debbie Keitel as of late, but another woman familiar with the scene is also a close friend of AV's. Amira and Vaughan go back as friends for quite some time, with both referring to each other as family in the past.

While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan about her friendship with Amira, Vaughan noted that she would love to wrestle Amira in 2024, stating that it's probably going to happen.

"So I can't imagine myself ever coming to blows with Amira. How close we are, it wouldn't be an easy thing, Corey, but I love Amira. She's just the funniest person you'll ever meet. If we do get to wrestle, the biggest fight in Irish history is me, Anita, versus Amira. It's probably going to happen in 2024 sometime and I would love to as well. She is gas, as they say."

The two women have previously met in tag team action, but have yet to face off one on one.

Elsewhere in Anita's interview with Fightful, she spoke on what she hopes to accomplish in 2024. You can read more about that here.

Fightful also recently sat down with Amira for an interview. You can watch that interview here.
