Dominic Garrini: There Are Fresh Matches For Us In GCW, We Want East West Express

Dominic Garrini discusses Violence is Forever returning to GCW.

After nearly four years, Violence is Forever (Garrini & Kevin Ku) returned to GCW as a tag team at GCW My Name Is on August 4. VIF established themselves as one of the top independent tag teams in wrestling, but largely wrestled for promotions that were featured on IWTV.

Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Stephen Jensen on The Spotlight, Garrini explained why now was the right time to return to GCW.

"I've known Brett [Brett Lauderdale] for six or seven years now from when he would come to AIW. I reached out to Brett, Kevin and I talked and were like, 'what's the next step for us?' I reached out to Brett two months ago. He's such an enigma when it comes to reaching out for stuff. 'Detroit is coming up, I live close to Detroit, Kevin is in Chicago, the GCW tag division has had a lot of the same teams there, there hasn't been a lot of turnover. There are a lot of fresh matchups for us.' That's pretty much what I told Brett," said Dominic. "GCW is the number one show in town. They run the most. They run the biggest variety of cities. We would love to be there as much as we can. Our sights are set on Nick [Nick Wayne] and Jordan [Jordan Oliver] and the tag titles. We want to wrestle East West Express and win the tag titles. That's as simple as it is."

Violence is Forever defeated Los Macizos (Ciclope & Miedo Xtremo) at GCW My Name Is.

They are set to return to GCW on September 1 in Chicago.
