Exclusive: Killer Kross Shares Favorite Moments From His Career, Talks Working With Johnny Impact, Lucha Underground, More

Killer Kross speaks out!

"Sin City's" favorite son Killer Kross has been making waves around the professional wrestling world since he started in the business just five years ago. Killer Kross competes in Mexico for AAA where he is linked with fellow IMPACT Wrestling star Scarlett Bordeaux and together they are known as "The Killer Smoke Show". On top of his work in Mexico, Killer Kross is heavily featured on IMPACT Wrestling where he is currently feuding with the IMPACT World Champion Johnny Impact and is set to challenge Johnny for the World Title on this upcoming Friday's episode of IMPACT TV.

In only a way that pro wrestling can bring wrestlers together in different promotions and companies, when Killer Kross first started in AAA, he helped Johnny Impact capture a number of championships but in IMPACT Wrestling they are bitter rivals. Fightful asked Killer Kross about his experiences in the ring with Johnny and what does he think about their crossing of paths over the past two years.

"John and I have had a very long and convoluted history working together." Kross explained. "This business brings us together in varying circumstances and I always look forward to them."

Killer Kross' more recent run in IMPACT Wrestling is not his first go-around in the company. He made his debut for Global Force Wrestling in 2015 in a match against current WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Bobby Roode at an GFW Amped taping. The 6'4 big man has made many memorable moments throughout his time in IMPACT so I asked what are some of his favorites and he listed off powerbombing the Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie at 'Homecoming' and a few matches with her husband as his favorite moments in IMPACT.

"Some of my favorite moments from my time in IMPACT was my match versus John at Final Hour, powerbombing Taya Valkyrie at Homecoming, and my Street Fight with John in Nashville." Kross shared.

The current Ring Warriors Grand Champion has had the chance to tap into another part of skill set as he played the role "The White Rabbit" in Lucha Underground. Kross capped off season four of L.U. at Ultima Lucha Cuatro where he alongside Paul London and El Bunny attempted to win the Lucha Underground Trios Championships. Kross described portraying "The White Rabbit" character as a complete joy.

"It was a complete joy and I enjoyed every second of it." Kross noted.

Fightful then asked Killer Kross if he could go back in time and change any moment, match outcome or debut in wrestling history, what would it be and he told me that he would've had the late former 3-time WCW World Tag Team Champion Sean O'Haire pushed to the moon during his run in WWE.

"I would've changed things so that Sean O’Haire was pushed to the moon during his WWE run." Kross shared.

The interview was capped off by asking Killer Kross what can wrestling fans expect from him in 2019 and he simply replied with the following:

"I am going to cause mayhem everywhere".

You can watch Killer Kross in action this Friday on IMPACT Wrestling on either the Pursuit Channel or on Twitch TV as he gets his shot at the IMPACT World Championship. Kross can be found on Twitter @realKILLERkross and on Instagram @realkillerkross.
