Exclusive: Smackdown Live's New Day Footage Filmed Last Week Due To Scheduling Conflict

Tuesday night's go-home edition of Smackdown Live lived up to its namesake -- mostly, at least.

Fightful.com has learned that a particular shot from the evening's program was actually filmed last week due to a high profile scheduling conflict.

The Elite: We're Getting AEW Back To What It Was Supposed To Be

Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods all appeared on Smackdown Live this week, but weren't actually there. They were seen backstage laughing furiously and heaving pancakes in the air after pulling one over on the Miz, but it would appear they whipped out their New Day time machine to do it. The segment was filmed at last week's show, and on the script it was specifically listed as "TV only -- previously recorded last Tuesday, 6/5/18 backstage).

The three members of the New Day were instead at E3 in order to take part in a video game competition against Bullet Club Elite's Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. Our friends at Pro Wrestling Unlimited told us that Xavier competed in a ProAm tournament for charity today playing Fortnite.
