Jordan Oliver: I Would Expose Jonathan Gresham In A Rematch

Jordan Oliver is ready to defend the JCW Championship against all comers.

Jordan Oliver won the JCW Championship in February when he defeated "Speedball" Mike Bailey in a tournament final. Since winning the belt, Oliver has defended it against the likes of Alex Coughlin, Blake Christian, Komander, Mance Warner, Cole Radrick, and more.

Appearing on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl, Oliver was asked what's next for him and the championship.

"There are so many people on the independents that would be awesome defenses. I would like to defend against Ace Austin. I love wrestling Ace Austin, I haven't wrestled him in maybe three years. Since he joined Bullet Club, I haven't wrestled him, I'm sure he's way different now. I want to defend against Jonathan Gresham. I want to defend more internationally. Defend in Canada, France, England, and America. GCW has Korakuen Hall coming up, maybe we'll get a JCW defense. Australia, Germany. I want to go internationally," he said.

Oliver previously commented that he thought Jonathan Gresham would expose him when they first wrestled in November 2022.

Asked how things would go in a rematch, Oliver said, "I don't want to test myself, I think I would expose him this time. Jordan Oliver would expose Jonathan Gresham. I'm chasing him. I want him. One more match."

Gresham is currently sidelined with an injury, and was expected to be out for four to six weeks from August 7.

Oliver recently teamed with Nick Wayne at All Star Junior Festival, taking on El Desperado & MAO. Before the bout, Oliver said that he was hoping his appearance on the show would lead to more NJPW opportunities. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
