Liv Morgan Names Her Favorite Euphoria Character, Talks Season 2 Of The HBO Series

HBO's Euphoria has Liv Morgan on the edge of her seat.

Liv Morgan on WWE television is supposed to be a representative of this generation of young adults. Paul Heyman once said that her desire to define herself and not let society define her is what makes her the perfect relatable star.

That very need for one to be able to defend themselves is something that is a Crux of the HBO show Euphoria. Starring Zendaya as Rue, a very troubled drug-addicted teen trying to get her life on track while also trying to figure out who she is as a person and what redeeming qualities she has outside of her addiction.

Liv Morgan, like many, is a fan of the show and recently spoke about it with Sean Ross Sapp.

Asked who her favorite character is, Liv Morgan admitted that it is the main character of the show, Rue, because of the natural way in which is Zendaya portrays her. Morgan also says she's a fan of Hunter Schafer’s Jules, Rue’s main love interest, and the newest character to present a wrinkle in their story, Elliot, portrayed by Dominic Fike.

"I love Rue. I hate to say the main character, but I love her. I think she’s so natural. When I watch her I feel like I’m on the fly on the wall watching a human being as opposed to an actress absolutely murdering it in her role. I think she’s incredible. But I also really like Elliot. He’s kind of throwing a whole swerve in the show right now. I love Jules. But I love Rue. She’s so beautiful and so natural."

Liv Morgan is also a fan of Maude Apatow’s Lexi as well as the characters of Fez and his always-ready albeit very young sidekick, Ashtray, even though she admits that Ashtray gives her anxiety.

"I like Lexi. It looks like she’s having a breakout season. I love her and Fez. I love Fez. Fez and Ashtray. I don’t know who’s my favorite. [Ashtray] is always ready. He gives me anxiety. I’m worried for him."

I don’t want to give any spoilers, but she’s not being too smart right now. She’s not making good decisions. I’m a little bit worried for her. I’m a little bit worried how this season’s going to end.

"Okay, I’m going to give a spoiler. Do you think that Elliot loves Rue and so he’s trying to low key break up Rue and Jules by kind of manipulating Jules?," Liv pondered.

"So do I," Morgan said in response to Sean Ross Sapp saying that he believes Elliott is genuine. "But then I feel like he’s kind of trying to manipulate Jules into thinking that her and Jules won’t be a good match. That’s half of me and then the other half of me is just like, ‘No, he’s just so chill and down to earth and they just have this open, honest dialogue.’ Which I love, too."

Liv doesn't rule out the possibility of Elliot and Jules getting together either.

"Or maybe him and Jules are just gonna fall in love. But I don’t know. There’s something going on there."

Regardless of what happens this season, Liv Morgan will have plenty to be on the edge of her seat about as Euphoria airs every Sunday on HBO and HBO Max.

Then, on Monday nights, Liv Morgan can channel that energy she takes away from the most recent episode of euphoria and channel it into in-ring action on Monday Night Raw. Fightful has live coverage of WWE Raw beginning Monday at 8 p.m. eastern time.
