A Dark Order dream match will go down at C*4 Wrestling Walking The Edge on September 15.
The bout will pit Alan Angels, known as Five in Dark Order, against Evil Uno, the first member of Dark Order. Angels officially split from Dark Order when he left AEW in June 2022. Angels has gone on to compete for IMPACT Wrestling and make various independent wrestling appearances while Uno continues to lead Dark Order in AEW
Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, C*4 Wrestling owner Mark Pollesel discussed the bout coming together.
"I realized that," he said of Angels not being happy he was referred to "Five" in the hype for the match. "I wasn't happy when he canceled our booking last October [laughs]. I'm joking, it's all good. It's awesome that he's coming up and it's awesome that it worked out. It's literally something that fell in place last week. It wasn't just some clever promoting on my behalf to leave it four days before the show to push that match. It's something that came together and I'm really excited about it."
When asked why Angels wasn't able to make his last booking, Mark replied, "He was supposed to come up last October. I was going to do him and Stu Grayson. That fell apart because he went and got a chance to work for IMPACT, that son of a bitch [sarcastic], and since then, my scheduling always seems to fall on IMPACT weekends. That's why this is Josh Alexander's first time up here in over a year, he also was hurt. This is why Speedball [Mike Bailey] can be here, Jody Threat, it's very hit or miss, my schedule. I book 18 months in advance for gates with my venue. Once I'm locked in, it's just, 'thanks for letting me know about these dates. Alan Angels is someone who I've gone back and forth with, I've wanted to get him up here at some point, and then last week, Stu reached out, and I don't know the exact circumstances, but he was going to be in Canada and I said, 'let's do it,' so we're doing it. It's a match a lot of people want to see, him and Uno, they have a long history and it'll be awesome to present that."
