More On Danny Limelight's Departure From MLW

Danny Limelight

Danny Limelight is a free agent, and we've learned a little more about his exit from MLW.

We're told that Limelight was on an exclusive paid-per appearance deal that was originally set to run through June of 2023. However, Limelight looked to secure his release after what he tells us was simply "bad timing." Limelight was a member of the group 5150, but unfortunately, health issues to Konnan and injuries to his tag team partner Slice Boogie derailed plans for the group.

We're told that when there weren't creative plans for Limelight and he wasn't brought to the New York tapings, he sought out his release. MLW granted it, and we're told it was an amicable parting of the ways with the two sides. It was noted that Limelight and Major League Wrestling are open to working together again in the future if the situation presents itself.
